The Australian Network for Art and Technology (ANAT) is a not-for-profit, self assessed income tax exempt body incorporated in 1988 under the Associations Incorporations Act SA 1985 and trades nationally under an Australian Registered Business Number.

The ANAT Board has ultimate responsibility for the management of ANAT and abides by the ANAT Constitution. The board is made up of duly elected members of ANAT and members may also be coopted from time to time within the guidelines of the ANAT Constitution. As per the legislation ANAT holds an AGM where board members can be elected and at this time the board distributes an annual report including audit accounts.
