For over a decade Melinda Rackham has engaged with Innovative Technology and Emergent Art Practices as a pioneering Australian networked artist, writer, curator and cultural producer. She is an expert commentator on the aesthetic, technological, conceptual and cultural aspects of networked, distributed, multi-user, game and mobile environments.

Gavin Artz

General Manager

Gavin Artz's experience in business management ranges from multi-national companies, to not-for-profit community organisations. His diverse background spans arts and commerce - with a BA in Politics; Double Bass and Composition Studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music; a Graduate Certificate in Business Management; and he is now completing his MBA. After working as a professional musician for many years, Gavin is currently pursuing creativity in business management with a focus on governance and strategy.

Vicki Sowry

Program Manager art research science

Vicki Sowry has worked in screen production, industry development, new media and television for over 16 years. She has a particular skill and passion for establishing and delivering professional development programs for media practitioners in partnership with industry. She is a peer of the Australia Council for the Arts and an industry assessor for the Australian Film Commission (now Screen Australia). She has honed her considerable governance skills as a Board Director and/or Chairperson for a broad range of state-based and national arts and screen industry bodies.

Fee Plumley

Program Manager Portable Platforms

Fee Plumley has combined a love for performance and media arts. She has curated public screen content and enabled community webcasting. She has also been a speaker and a juror at international arts gatherings and educational establishments. Best known for encouraging people to be creative with their mobile phones through the-phone-book Limited, this year she extends the mobile/emerging legacy by joining ANAT as portable platforms & emerging technologies Program Manager.

Embracing Sound Program Manager

Sarah is an artist and independent curator who based herself in regional NSW for the past eight years. Since 2003, she's curated experimental sound and media arts projects for the artist-run-initiative Wagga Space Program and a range of publicly funded organizations. Along with her ESP responsibilities, Sarah is currently a PhD candidate with Queensland University of Technology.

Amanda Matulick

Marketing Manager

Amanda Matulick started out with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. However, these qualifications, and a background in the Not-for-Profit and Community sectors did absolutely nothing to prepare her for a new life in Art & Technology. An enthusiastic 'geek-in-learning', Amanda sometimes borrows other people's gadgets 'purely for research', but she always gives them back again. She thrives on travel and op-shopping and is currently enjoying a new-found love of old-found vinyl.

Juili Kwan

Finance Officer

Juili Kwan is currently studying at the University of Adelaide completing her degree in Commerce majoring in Accountancy. She has had 8 years experience working in finance for multi-national media companies and holds an Advance Diploma in Accounting, after graduating as one of the top 10 students in North Sydney. Her passion lies in the Arts specifically with textiles and pattern design.

Warren Veljanovski

Membership and Administration Officer

Warren completed post-graduate studies in Art History at the University of Adelaide in 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia and Media Production from the University of South Australia and a graduate certificate of International Politics from Adelaide University. Warren has previously worked in the Indigenous Arts sector, and participates in a variety of different arts activities in South Australia, including curation and community theatre.

Anthony is originally from New Zealand where for the last five he was working as a Technical Engineer in the financial sector. He is also experienced in all areas of design.

Somaya Langley

Video Correspondent

Somaya Langley is a sound and media artist. In previous years she has worked on wearable sound experiences including HyperSense Complex and the Suspect Backpack. She has completed commissions for Experimenta, the National Film and Sound Archive and has received funding support from the Australia Council for the Arts, artsACT, the Australian Network for the Arts and Technology and the Friends of the National Library of Australia. Somaya was the National Library of Australia’s Digital Preservation Officer.
