Presented by Arts Victoria, in association with The Australian Network for Art and Technology, and the Australian National University, Department of Archaeology and Natural History.

ANAT is pleased to announce that as part of its national and international Art & Science consultancy, it will be managing an Arts Innovation and Science Residency for artist Pierre Proske at the Department of Archaeology and Natural History, ANU.

About the residency

The Arts Innovation and Science Residency is funded by Arts Victoria through the Arts Innovation program, which provides opportunities for artists to work with partners in other fields to share their respective knowledge and expertise.

This exciting collaboration will utilise the research of the Department of Archaeology and Natural History, including recording and analysis of digital imagery and human artefacts. Pierre will be working toward creating an automated system using software tools to generate collages of images obtained through high-resolution digital microscopy.
