WearNow Symposium_

ANAT, in partnership with Craft Australia and ANU, has brought together leading artists, researchers, theorists and writers in the field of wearable computing. Held over 2 days in Canberra, the WearNow Symposium explored both the current state and future directions of the emerging art, fashion and design practices of wearable technology.
The national and international Symposium speakers provide diverse perspectives on the historical, innovative and developmental aspects of this rapidly developing hybrid arena. There was also ample opportunity for informal viewing, listening, performances and discussion around, the wearable technology art works produced by some of Australia’s most creative artists, jewellers and designers in the groundbreaking three-week reSkin laboratory.
